Christian Darlene Belton (Rev. Chrissy) is a strong leader, passionate preacher, and a creative thinker. She was born to the proud parents, Elders Wayne & Darlene Belton. In June 2002, Christian was blessed to graduate from Harry S. Truman High School in Levittown, PA at the Top of her Class with a 4.0 GPA. Because of her scholastic achievements, she received a full academic Gates Millennium Scholarship and attended Philadelphia University located in Philadelphia, PA. In May 2006, Christian graduated and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design Communications. In May 2014, Christian graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC with a Masters of Divinity degree.

Christian received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. After speaking at different youth programs and services at various churches, Christian soon recognized and accepted God’s call to the ministry and to preach the Good News at the age of 18. Christian accepted her calling under the pastoral leadership of Elder Harold B. Hayes, Sr., the Pastor of Mt. Pisgah United Holiness Church in Philadelphia, PA.

Christian seeks to serve the Body of Christ as the Lord leads and directs. Obeying the voice of the Lord, she relocated to the state of Maryland in 2006. Christian is a faithful member of Hunter Memorial AME Church located in Suitland, MD, where Rev. Harold B. Hayes, Jr. is the Pastor and Rev. Kellie V. Hayes is the Assistant Pastor. Christian preached her initial sermon at Hunter Memorial AME Church in September 2006 entitled “Headed In The Righteous Direction”. In June 2007 Christian received her AME ministerial preaching license. In April 2010 during the Washington Annual Conference, Christian was ordained Itinerant Deacon in the AME Church. In May 2014 during the Virginia Annual Conference, Christian was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the AME Church.

During her membership at Hunter Memorial, Christian served as the choir director for Hunter's Holy Nation Youth Choir and the Minister to Young Adults. She also served Hunter in the ministry of administration as the Administration Assistant and Executive Assistant to Pastoral Ministries. Rev. Belton can be found serving at her local church as a member of the Ministerial Staff, Praise & Worship Team, and the Praise Publications & Media Ministry.

Currently, Christian also works full time as the sole proprietor of CB Creates, the graphic design business that she founded. She is releasing her first book "In Case of Emerging" in June 2016. She is excited about sharing this devotional for young adults that she believes will be a blessing.

Above all, Christian’s purpose is to fulfill the call that God has on her life and to lead many to the saving power of Jesus Christ. Her greatest hope is that her life will be a witness to the power of God, and that all glory will go to the Lord.
